International Foundation
Programme (IFP)
The
International Foundation Programme (IFP) course is offered as a
pre-degree course with the requirements of overseas students
hoping to study a Bachelor’s Degree at Maritime Greenwich
College in mind. The IFP enables international students to
experience the study environment at the College whilst improving
their English Language skills ad equipping them with the basic
academic knowledge necessary for commencement of their future
course of study. The IFP course is designed to develop the
student’s understanding of the English language and their
academic study abilities as well as their numeracy and computing
skills. Successful completion of the IFP course guarantees
entrance into appropriate Bachelor’s Degree course at Maritime
Greenwich College and Middlesex University, London.

Eligibility
Successful completion of secondary
education. A reasonable command of written and spoken English,
approximately equal to IELTS 4.5 or equivalent is also
recommended.
